The mission of First Baptist Church is threefold - Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. Through our love and devotion to Jesus Christ our Lord, we seek to have a more intimate relationship with our Creator and we rely on the Holy Spirit and the Bible to guide us in our daily lives. We seek to love others by modeling the life and teachings of Christ Jesus throughout Samaria (our local community), Judea (our surrounding communities), and the world. It is our charge to reach as many people with the Gospel and the message of Salvation found only in Jesus death, burial, and resurrection. Lastly, we seek to make disciples of Jesus through the practice of Christian disciplines such as personal evangelism, adhering to sound Biblical doctrine, devotion to prayer and Bible study, and a genuine love for all people.
